SSI is putting one of its most valuable continuing education programs in the spotlight with the 2026 Diver Stress & Rescue Contest, challenging Training Centers and Professionals across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean to certify as many SSI Diver Stress & Rescue students as they can between September 1 and October 31, 2026.
The goal is simple: get more divers trained to recognize stress, prevent problems before they happen, and respond confidently when things don’t go according to plan. And this fall, SSI Professionals, Training Centers, and their divers all have something to compete for.
The SSI Professional who issues the most qualifying SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certifications during the contest period will win an Aqualung i330R Dive Computer.
The SSI Training Center issuing the greatest number of qualifying certifications will also be recognized as the winning Training Center and will be awarded SSI Pro rash guards for their entire staff.

Every diver who earns a new SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification between September 1 and October 31 is automatically entered into a random drawing to win their own Aqualung i330R Dive Computer!
SSI has also created ready-to-use marketing materials to make the promotion easy for Training Centers and Pros to reach their local community and fill their scheduled programs. Centers are encouraged to schedule their fall Diver Stress & Rescue programs in Scubago, promote them across their websites, social channels, and customer communications, and use the contest as an opportunity to drive continuing education while creating better-prepared divers.
