AUGUSTA, GA — Aggressor Adventures® is expanding its global portfolio with the introduction of the Madagascar Aggressor®! The new liveaboard adventure will have its Maiden Voyage on June 6, 2027. Operating in the waters surrounding Nosy Be and the archipelagos of northwestern Madagascar, the new destination will offer guests access to colorful coral reefs, dramatic underwater formations and an extraordinary diversity of marine life.

Designed to accommodate 24 guests, the Madagascar Aggressor® will feature 12 staterooms across three decks, spacious indoor and outdoor gathering areas, and a sun deck with a hot tub for relaxing between dives. Diverse Diving and Remarkable Marine Life
The waters of northwestern Madagascar offer a variety of underwater environments, including coral gardens, gorgonian-covered reefs, pinnacles, drop-offs, arches and wrecks. Divers may encounter Humpback whales, whale sharks, reef sharks, rays, turtles, and large schools of tropical fish, including fusiliers, jacks, barracuda, batfish and surgeonfish.
The region also offers opportunities for underwater photographers to search for smaller marine life, including nudibranchs, leaf fish, scorpionfish, crocodile fish, moray eels and octopus. The variety of habitats and marine species makes the area appealing to divers with a wide range of interests and experience.
Seasonal Wildlife Encounters
Madagascar’s marine life changes throughout the year, offering different highlights across the diving season.
From April through June, divers can enjoy reef exploration with opportunities to encounter turtles, schooling fish, rays and manta rays. Between June to November, migrating humpback whales pass through the region, and guests may observe them from the yacht or tenders and potentially hear their songs underwater.
From September through December, whale sharks gather in the waters surrounding Nosy Be, with September through November offering opportunities to encounter these remarkable animals alongside manta and mobula rays. October and November are typically considered the strongest period for seasonal whale shark encounters.
All wildlife encounters are subject to natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed. However, each departure offers the opportunity to explore Madagascar’s reefs, remote islands and diverse underwater ecosystems.

The Madagascar Aggressor® will combine liveaboard diving with remote island exploration and the natural beauty of a destination known for its distinctive landscapes and marine biodiversity.
