First, my background. I became a diver with Yscuba in 1961 and an instructor in 1969. From that I became involved in the Y program including Chairman of the Advisory Committee and writing much of the YMCA Scuba materials. In March 2008, YUSA called to inform me of the decision to put the program in “sunset” with an offer to give me the program.
