Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) Scales Up in Its 32nd Year with New Ocean Conservation

TekAsia 2026 by OZTek & ADEX debuts in Singapore

TEKAsia 2026, brought to you by OZTek and ADEX, will take place from 10–12 April 2026 at Suntec Singapore, bringing together divers, explorers and industry professionals for three days of focused learning, exchange and technical insight.

Held alongside ADEX, Asia’s leading dive expo, the conference continues to position itself as one of the region’s key platforms for advanced diving, covering technical, scientific, commercial and exploratory disciplines.

Organised and led by technical diving pioneers David Strike and Richard Taylor, TEKAsia builds on decades of experience in delivering world-class technical diving conferences, now making its Singapore debut as part of Singapore Ocean Week, ADEX Big Blue Legacy 2026.

More than a series of talks, TEKAsia 2026 offers a structured programme of presentations and hands-on workshops, designed to provide practical knowledge that can be applied in real diving environments. Topics span across cave and wreck exploration, rebreather technology, decompression practices, deep diving, marine archaeology, underwater photography, diver safety, and emerging technologies shaping the future of diving.

This year’s programme features one of the most extensive speaker line-ups in Asia, bringing together internationally recognised experts including Jill Heinerth, Richie Kohler, Leigh Bishop, Simon Pridmore, Steve Lewis, John Dalla-Zuanna, Bernie Chowdhury, Mikko Paasi, Claus Rasmussen, Alex Santos, Edmund Yiu, Katy Kuhls, Yana Stashkevich, David Street, Vishwanath Rajan, Por Parasu Komaradat, Chris Haslam, Beatrice Rivoira, Dr Matt Carter, Dr Nasreen Haque, Robin Cuesta, Marc Crane, Yoshitaka Isaji, Jimmy Choo, Liz Parkinson, Mark Tozer,  Richard Taylor, and David Strike, among others.

Across the three days, sessions will cover a wide range of real-world exploration and technical case studies. Highlights include topics such as the emergence of technical diving, cave survey and 3D mapping, rebreather systems and advancements, expedition logistics, in-water recompression, and large-scale exploration projects across caves, wrecks and mines.

Speakers will also present on major expeditions and research, including deep cave systems in Mexico and Canada, WWII wreck explorations, the HMHS Britannic, ghost wrecks of the Pacific, and underwater archaeological recovery projects.

Workshops further expand on these themes, offering deeper technical insights into areas such as CCR systems, cave diving skills, underwater mapping, training methodologies, and scientific diving practices, ensuring attendees gain both theoretical understanding and practical perspectives.

Designed for divers at all levels looking to advance their knowledge, TekAsia 2026 provides a platform to learn directly from leading practitioners, exchange ideas with the global diving community, and explore how new techniques and technologies continue to shape safer and more effective underwater exploration.
