Following overwhelming feedback from the Scuba Show survey—where over 70% of respondents requested an East Coast event—we’re thrilled to announce that plans are officially underway for a brand-new East Coast show!
Last week, our team visited a number of potential venues. Washington D.C. was ruled out due to limited onsite parking, and Philadelphia posed logistical challenges that would significantly raise exhibitor costs. After careful evaluation, we’re excited to confirm: Atlantic City will be the home of our new East Coast show!
Why Atlantic City?
Atlantic City offers the perfect blend of convenience, family appeal, and fun. It’s a safe, family-friendly destination featuring beaches, Steel Pier attractions, live shows, bars and restaurants—and yes, even casinos for adult visitors. The venue is easily accessible, with:
- An onsite train station connecting directly to major hubs
- Proximity to Philadelphia International Airport (just a one-hour drive or train ride)
- A local airport for regional access
- Direct links via major road networks
From our UK and Australia shows—both held in more remote locations—we’ve seen attendees happily travel four hours or more. That puts Atlantic City within driving range of over one-third of the U.S. population.
Unmatched Marketing Potential
A standout feature of Atlantic City is the tens of thousands of people walking the boardwalk each week in the lead-up to the show. We’ll leverage this to promote the event widely through outdoor advertising and activations.
Additionally, Scuba Diver North America will expand its distribution footprint to cover New York, Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia—giving us unrivalled regional reach.
Back-to-Back Scheduling
We’re strategically aligning the new show with our Long Beach event for maximum exhibitor convenience. Here’s how it looks:
- Long Beach: May 30–31, 2026
- Atlantic City: June 6–7, 2026
This schedule allows international exhibitors to fly into the U.S., attend Long Beach, prospect stores, then head East for Atlantic City and repeat—before heading home. We’ll handle inter-show shipping at a heavily subsidised rate, ensuring your display materials are ready and waiting at the second venue.
